Article Alert

Disclaimer: This article stands on things like rapes, assault, torture and teenager crimes. Better don't read it.

One of my mates had share me a post about the teenage crime-related rape and torture that took place in Japan 3 decades ago.
The crime was 'officially' committed by 4 teenagers but that's just 1/4 of the whole truth.
Japan became an independent country in 8 of September 1951 after signing a Japan-America peace-treaty.
World War 1 which was started on July 28 1914, and ended on November 11 1918, and World War 2 which was started on September 1 1939, and ended on September 2 1945.

Okay, why I am writing about the world wars? Because they are related to the crime that happened on 25 of November 1988.
And that wasn't the only crime that happened because of world war but in reality, many crimes are still, little or more, are affected by world wars.

If you don't agree with me then stay and read until you realize that I don't know what I am talking. But I do.

During the WW2 members of Yakuza become a helper for the Japanese Merchants. This article says all -

''during the war, Japanese criminal organizations (the yakuza and others) were at times treated like privateers, smuggling goods (including prostitutes) in and out of occupied areas. legitimate Japanese merchants also participated in this illicit trade in the war years.''   ~ source: reddit

Now, what's Yazuka had to do with the horrific crime of 1988, here are some more articles -
''THE Yamaguchi-Gumi, one of the world's largest and most ferocious gangs, is estimated to earn over $6 billion a year from drugs, protection, loan-sharking, real-estate rackets and even, it is said, Japan's stock exchange. ... And yet membership of the yakuza—as Japan's crime syndicates are known—is not technically illegal.Sep 30, 2015''  ~source: economist

Before putting cards on the table, I wan to tell you about the teenage crimes that are happening all over Japan and it's rising fast.
Not only in Japan but even India also has good rising numbers on teenage crimes.

Now, what will you think if I told you that 'Law' provoke teenage crimes.

This is a universal declared law by Human Rights which was adopted by UN in 1948 and by India in 1974 under the term of National Policy Resolution for Children (NPRC) and by Japan in 1948 termed as Juvenile Justice System or Juvenile Law.

Juvenile law is the unique body of law that relates to minors.
Juvenile definition is - physiologically immature or undeveloped : young.

In other words, this law prevents criminals who are under 18 from getting serious punishments.
Juvenile Law in Japan is soft, many people in India are appealing the Gov. of India to make changes in this Law, by saying that if minor crimes and major crimes are not same then why the law given punishment is same?

So, coming back to the point, how does it provoke kids to do the crime?
Well, it not directly provoke but it's been misused by the gang members and other people who don't want to dirty their hands and so they use the teens.
The school's pressure, struggling economy, lack of jobs, competitive environment; I mean, I can understand why they do the crime.
It's easy.

The Law does that if any crime been committed by any teenager like if a teenager had killed other teenager than the highest possible punishment under this law is 24 months in reform school or Juvenile Reformatory. That's a rare punishment.

If you want to know about the drawbacks of Juvenile Law and how this law provoking teenage crime then visit here--Real Stories (Video)

Here are some important notes from that Video ---
"I desperately want to see people die nothing makes me more excited than killing now the game begins. I want to take revenge on the compulsory education system that has made me transparent and invisible "
said by 14 years old teenage boy after killing an 11 years old boy.

"If I cannot succeed in an orthodox way at least I can succeed in a criminal world."
said by 17 years old after Hijacking a bus and stabbing 3 passengers.

High School Entrance Exam.
At the age of 15, 80% failed the Exam for Highschool from where they can get into good Universities.

Teen Motor-Bike Gangs.

These things aren't new in Japan.
Victims family members or victims himself, if by grace he or she is alive, can't do anything against these minor criminals because of Juvenile Law.

Yakuza hires teenager and not only Yakuza there are many other unknown gangs that manipulates teenager and make them join the gangs. Teenager, once they got into any gang than they realize that getting in was easy but the getting out from it is difficult and in some gangs, it's even life-risking thing.

But Yakuza never manipulate anyone because it is an honourable criminal group -
" Yakuza is a criminal group but they are respectful, often they help poor people and fight other criminals, there is a theory they are a reminiscent of the Samurai class due to their code of honour."

Now I had completely laid my foundation, here I go:-

I had no intention of writing about what had happened to Miss Furuta Junko  but I what I wanted to tell you is this- The crime that had happened on 25 of November 1988 was not committed by only 4 teenagers.

  • Crime Act started - 25 of November 1988 at 8:30 pm.
  • Furuta Junko cycling back to her home, Nobuharu Minato kicked her by the order of Hiroshi Miyano. Miyano faked being a helper asked her to walk her home and lead her to a warehouse.
  • 3:00 am in the park - Hiroshi Miyano, Nobuharu Minato, Jō Ogura, Yasushi Watanabe.

  •  Threaten Her - Yazuka Connection and killing her family.
  • Minato's house - Minato's father, mother and brother knew about Miss Furuta. Ain't done nothing because they knew about Miyano's Yazuka connection.
  • 40 Days - Those 4 bastards had said to did it 400 times, more than 100 people had done it to her. Along with torture, assaults, and the most horrifying thing is that they said it all by themselves.

The most painful thing is that this case got solved just by a mistake.(During the interrogation, one of the officers led Miyano into believing that police were aware of a murder committed by Miyano. Thinking that Jō Ogura had confessed to the crimes against Furuta, Miyano told the police where to find Furuta's body. The police were initially puzzled by the confession, as they had been referring to the murder of a different woman and her seven-year-old son that had occurred nine days prior to Furuta's abduction)wiki

Hiroshi Miyano = 20 years in prison (age 18)
    Nobuharu Minato = 4-6 years than re-sentenced 5-9 years(age 16)
    Yasushi Watanabe = 3-4 years than re-sentenced 5-7 years(age 17)
    Jō Ogura = 8 years (age 17)

     She found to be Pregnant.

Miss Furuta Junko died on 4 January 1989, 14 days before her 18th birthday./

NOW, Who were the real criminals?

Those 4 teenagers, or those 100 other people who had made those 4 teenagers that they are not alone, or the parents of Minato or his younger brother, there even 2 police officers who had not followed the procedure and done their duty, or is it the fear and advantage of being a member of Yakuza, or is it the Juvenile Law, or everything and everybody is in fault.

Q.What would have happened if Minato's parents or his younger brother had complained to the police (secretly)?
    A. She could have been raped by those four bastards because of park incident, but she did not have to spend the rest of 39 days in that hellish place.

Q.What would have happened if the police had done their duty properly?
    A. Furuta's ordeal would have only lasted sixteen days.

Q.What would have happened if Miyano's  wasn't connected with Yakuza?
    A. If he wasn't connected to Yakuza then maybe Minato's parents would have taken action for sake Furuta or Furuta could have been saved from the other 100 or more than 100, who knows exact numbers, could have been saved from those 100 other bastards.

Q.What would have happened if Yakuza was really an honourable crime gang?
    A. Trust me even Yakuza don't have any record of torture or assault like those 4 bastards. If Miyano was really connected with Yakuza then, as far as I have read about them, Miyano should have been punished by cutting off his fingers.

    And Finally!

Q.What would have happened if the laws were updated? What would have happened if there was a difference between human and inhuman crimes in Juvenile Law? What would have happened if Japan would have waked up after Miss Furuta Junko's case?

I don't know because we all are still sleeping.

Miss Furuta Junko's case was from Japan but small and similar crimes are being conducted everywhere some people are trying their hardest to change and modify and update this Law by the difference of Major crimes and Minor crimes and some people still don't care.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Seriously, I don't know who to blame. I can't believe that some people are so demonic.

I pledge to put my life on stake if I ever encounter these kinds of crime.

I want to share something with you, after reading about Miss Furuta Junko only one thing came into my mind,' God please, never makes me born as a girl in this world.'.

But I know God doesn't work that way so:-
I, Mayank Rawal, pledge my life, on making this world a better place for humanity.

Thank You.
