Way of the Samurai

Samurai Champloo; as unique as it's name, so does the anime.

The art style is nothing like modern anime and it has the most realistic death scenes (where you don't have to wait to see someone die in slow-motion.)

The story revolves around a search of a Samurai who smells of Sun-flower. Later they realize that the Sun-flower never smell. It doesn't have any fragrance, that indeed, making this anime more mysterious in it's nature. 

The protagonists or the 3 main characters in this anime are Mugen (wildness in nature and a person who's art of fighting comes from his instinct.), Jin (a disciplined person who believe in his martial art style, unlike Mugen, Jin has a style), and Fuu (a sweet and cute girl who saves Mugen and Jin from execution)

So the story is pretty simple, she saves both of them on a condition of being her bodyguard and stay with her until she finds the Samurai who smells of Sun-flower but the thing which make this anime interesting and unique in the world of anime is it's Art Style and Music.

I understand, nothing work well if the story sucks, right? The story of Samurai Champloo is like an onion. Each character is ruthless, and at the same time helpless, too. This anime will teach you about the Edo period of Japan and the way people use to be back then. The political tactics, the government, the religious fight, the fight for superiority; to be very honest, I learnt that nothing has really changed. 

The era of no technology, the era of swords and the era of guns and the era of modern weapon; many things changed but the essence stayed the same. 

This anime taught me to accept the path you have chosen or which you have decided to walk on; it taught me to never abandon oneself. Never abandon oneself for if it means to take someone else life, you should never hesitate.

This anime taught me that people does what they does, if they are against you it doesn't mean you are wrong, it's just that they don't know the whole story and the story holds the 'whys' of your doing.
